Vivitek's New 2D to 3D Projectors Launched In India

Vivitek is raising the bar by introducing their new D5 series of projectors. Unlike the 3D projectors available in the market which are merely 3D 'capable', the D5 series is capable of 2D to 3D conversion by itself.
The D5 series has three models: D512-3D, D536-3D and the D538W-3D. The only difference between the models is the native resolution which ranges from 800x600 to 1280x800. All the projectors support a max brightness level of 3200 lumens.

The contrast ratio is 3000:1 and they connectivity options include HDMI, VGA, S-Video, Composite and audio-in options. It even has built-in 1W speakers. The 3D conversion technique works for both images and motion videos. However, whether the 3D technology is active or passive is yet unknown.
The D512-3D, D536-3D and the D538W-3D retail for Rs 37,950, Rs 53,130 and Rs 57,684.
