Android Ice Cream Sandwich To Release in Oct-Nov?

Google's next Android OS is called Ice Cream Sandwich (which you may be aware of) and if Google's executive chairman, Eric Schmidt’s words are to be believed, it is expected to launch in October or November.

"We have a new operating system, internally known as Ice Cream Sandwich for some reason, which is being released in October / November which we're very excited about."
The new OS is expected to combine the best of Honeycomb and Gingerbread and release a single package for all smartphones and tablets. As of now only the Nexus S Prime (rumoured to be manufactured by Samsung) is confirmed to come with the Ice Cream Sandwich OS pre-installed.
Here is the video of Eric Schmidt revealing the details of the new OS for those who like to hear it from the horses’ mouth.
